Accomplished Law Enforcement Officer

After graduating early with a Criminal Justice degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Brian joined the Eugene Police Department, in Eugene, Oregon, at the age of 21. During his tenure as a police officer, he was recognized for arresting one of "America's Most Wanted" suspects, as well as the apprehension of nearly 70 white-collar criminals in a three-month period. Brian's contributions to law enforcement provided him with first-hand experience of the criminal justice process.

Former State Prosecutor

Brian went on to attend the prestigious University of Iowa College of Law and interned with the United States Attorney's Office. He completed his Juris Doctorate in 2005 and became an Assistant District Attorney in Bexar County, Texas. In his first two years, Brian managed thousands of domestic and family violence criminal cases, seeing many through to a successful jury verdict. He went on to become a Felony Family Violence Prosecutor working hundreds of family violence matters, including sexual assaults, indecency, aggravated offenses, and murder.
